About this event

Today, having broadband access is linked to our health, our well-being, and our economic security. This is especially true for the Latinx community, Black and Indigenous communities of color, as well as rural and low-income households or families who are experiencing economic hardship because of Covid-19 and who face compounding obstacles to establishing and sustaining a reliable at-home broadband connection.

Having access to the internet allows students to continue to learn, parents the option to pursue remote employment options, and it allows all of us to learn new skills to remain competitive in today’s job market.

Learn how the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program makes having at-home internet affordable and most importantly, accessible, for Latinx families.
