John Martinez has over 10 years of cloud experience, and is Director of Cloud R&D and DevRel at Palo Alto Networks. He and his team spend their days developing new ways to do cloud security. He joined Palo Alto Networks via their acquisition of cloud security pioneer Evident.io, where he was VP of Customer Success and Solutions. Before that, he spent time architecting, deploying and securing cloud solutions for Adobe and Netflix.
Diana (she/they) has been in InfoSec for 5 years and has a wide range of experience in security, from pen testing to developing policy and risk management programs. They are passionate about making space for underrepresented minorities in tech and fighting the patriarchy, and can be seen volunteering for various infosec events like The Diana Initiative, Defcon, and ShellCon. Pedro Peralta is a Vice President at the Bank of New York Mellon. He is responsible for Container security, works on applied cryptography and serves as an internal consultant to the broader infrastructure and security organization. Peralta has a decade of experience in security architecture, program management, and engineering.
Prior to BNY Mellon, Peralta was a Technical Domain Architect in Security Engineering at Nomura Securities, where he led the deployment of endpoint and cloud security solutions to meet regulatory requirements and protect sensitive data. Prior to Nomura, he held a couple information security roles at Goldman Sachss
Peralta earned his Bachelor's in Computer Systems Technology from Citytech and an Associate Degree in Computer Technology from LaGuardia Community College. He currently holds the CISSP and SANS GIAC Incident Handler information security certifications
