Steve Morin is the Head of Mobile Engineering at Asana and is passionate about productivity, leadership, and motivation. Steve brings over 20 years of experience in running and growing technology and product development teams for Fortune 500 companies and startups, including Instagram/Facebook, AT&T, Sociocast, AOL, and Yahoo!’s Mobile Search Marketing Platform. Prior to joining Asana, Steve was a CTO a Tripping.com a Travel search company, and Founder/CTO at Nvent, a big data consultancy serving a range of clients, including Comcast, AT&T, Autodesk, and Kixeye. He has specialties in Mobile Engineer, Data Systems Engineering, and Advertising Platforms.
I was born in Lima, Peru, where I spent my childhood, and have spent most of my adult life in the San Francisco Bay Area. My career in Tech has focused on leading Sales Technology Operations teams for nearly 20 years, and has taken me to work in cities like London and Amsterdam, and now back to The Bay. My passion for developing teams that not only execute, but also grow and thrive, has expanded my professional focus from technology systems to people systems, and now I serve as Chief of Staff to People Operations at Asana.
Josh Torres (he/him) is the Chief of Staff for Out in Tech, the world's largest non-profit uniting the LGBTQ+ tech community. Josh leads leads the corporate council, operations, and strategic planning enabling opportunities for the organization's 40,000+ members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change.
Jacob Martinez is the 2020 winner of the James Irvine Foundation Leadership Award and the founder and executive director of Digital NEST, a technology workforce development center for predominantly Latinx youth. The NEST connects youth to a supportive skill-building community and transforms them into professionals who can create successful careers and prosperous communities.
Head of Diversity Talent Programs
Nadia Abouzaid is the Head of Diversity Talent Programs at Asana. She has dedicated her career to driving increased representation through the development of equitable and inclusive hiring practices. Prior to joining Asana, Nadia was Head of Recruitment for Jopwell, the leading career advancement platform for Black, Latinx, and Native American students and professionals.
Frances Coronel is a software engineer specializing in UI development on the Customer Acquisition Team at Slack where her mission is to make your working life simpler, more pleasant and more productive.
She has been working professionally as a developer since 2015 and has both a Bachelors's and Masters's in Computer Science.
Frances is also the Executive Director of Techqueria, a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the largest community for Latinx in Tech in the US and the host of Tech Queens, the first podcast that focuses on the stories and advice shared by women of color in tech.
Her passions outside of work include contributing to open-source, public speaking and mentoring other people of color in tech.
